Sarah Risen

MD

Dr. Risen is a faculty member in both the Department of Pediatric Neurology and the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. After completing training in neurodevelopmental disabilities at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, she pursued a two-year clinical and research fellowship focusing on children with traumatic brain injury. Dr. Risen is board certified in pediatrics and neurology with special certification in child neurology. She believes in a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to the evaluation and management of neurodevelopmental disabilities.
