Born and reared in Honduras, Nicole grew up the oldest of four in a bilingual household. She's had Type 1 diabetes since age 5, and she's always been on a mission to prove that diagnosis doesn't stop her from fulfilling her dreams — including becoming a mom.

Nicole has worked in print magazines and as a photographer. Now, she writes about fitness, self-care and living a balanced life.
